On 17 September 2025, CHA invites its members to a confidential exchange with Jan Egeland at the CHA office from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
Topic: ‘Humanitarian work under attack – upholding humanitarian principles in times of crisis’ (humanitarian reset/reform and attacks on humanitarian principles and the humanitarian system).
Jan Egeland has been Secretary General of NRC since 2013 and was previously, among other things, United Nations Undersecretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator as well as Eminent Person of the Grand Bargain.
