Mayla Sprenger is a research assistant at the Centre for Humanitarian Action (CHA) since February 2026. Her research interests include displacement and migration, Triple Nexus and German Humanitarian Action.
Previously, she worked in event coordination and grant management for European civil society projects. She also worked on a humanitarian project for refugees in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mayla has a bachelor’s degree in human rights from Malmö University and is currently studying for a master’s degree in nonprofit management and public governance at the Berlin School of Economics and Law.
She speaks German, English, French, Swedish, and Spanish.
