To exchange views on the current humanitarian situation and political developments in the Middle East, Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner General of UNRWA, will be in Berlin for an exclusive lunch on 17 October.
Commissioner General Lazzarini will share the current situation and challenges facing Palestinian refugees in UNRWA’s five areas of operation – Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Gaza and the West Bank including East Jerusalem – as well as the operational challenges on the ground.
We look forward to an exchange of experiences and a joint discussion on future challenges in the region, also in the light of multiple crises and upcoming budget cuts in leading donor nations such as Germany and the USA.
