CHA is consulting partner in bicc project ‘Power Relations of Peace’

Darina Pellowska, Research Fellow at the Centre for Humanitarian Action (CHA), is a consultant in a recently launched BICC research project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

The project examines how power relations within the humanitarian-development-peace (HDP) nexus influence which visions of peace are pursued in the crisis contexts of Mali, South Sudan, and Syria.
It aims to promote more inclusive and locally-led peacebuilding efforts by exploring how local perspectives can be better integrated into international programming.

Cooperatioon partners include IRC, Malteser International, and Swisspeace, as well as Berghof Foundation, Welthungerhilfe and CHA.

The project runs from April 2025 to March 2028.
