We invite all members of the Anti-Racism Forum, as well as any new interested participants, to our next online ARA meeting in mid December.
This time, we would like to propose a slightly different meeting with a thematic focus on Gaza. We aim to create a safe space to discuss – from a decolonial and antiracist perspective:
What does it mean to currently undertake advocacy activities related to Israel-Palestine?
How are organisations handling staff disagreements about this?
What does the German foreign (and domestic) policy mean for humanitarians in this context and what implications has it for Western/German organisations’ humanitarian partnerships with the organisations in the Global South?
We are aware that it is a deeply sensitive topic; however, we believe that the ARA forum can offer the space to discuss openly, respectfully and with empathy to address the difficult conversations that often go unspoken.
