Lena Koperek is a Research & Administration Officer at the Centre for Humanitarian Action (CHA). Her research interests include German humanitarian action, European cooperation and the development of the global framework for humanitarian aid.
Before joining CHA in May 2025, Lena worked as a research assistant at the Chair of European Studies at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) and accompanied federal volunteer services as a seminar leader.
Lena holds a Master’s degree in European Studies at the European University Viadrina. Before that, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in French and History at the Ruhr University Bochum and the Université des Antilles in Martinique.
Lena speaks German, English, French, Spanish and some Polish.
