Goda Milašiūtė

Goda Milasiute is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Humanitarian Action (CHA). She works on locally led humanitarian action with a focus on local leadership within funding mechanisms / pooled funds. Her related areas of expertise include gender and intersectionality in humanitarian action, feminist approaches to humanitarian action, and humanitarian principles. Goda is also experienced in conceptualising and facilitating training courses, and is a co-editor of ‘Humanitarian Takeaways‘, a thematic CHA-ICVA newsletter.

Goda has previously held a traineeship at the EU Delegation to the UN Organisations in Rome (FAO, WFP, and IFAD), as well as interned with Brot für die Welt, the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence, and the Lithuanian Embassy in Germany.

Goda has a master’s degree in International Relations from the Free University of Berlin, the Humboldt University of Berlin, and the University of Potsdam (2020). As part of her degree, she also spent a semester at Sciences Po Aix.

Goda speaks Lithuanian, English, Spanish, German, Italian, and French.
