The Federal Government wants to continue the deployment of Bundeswehr in Mali in a modified form: In Berlin, the ministers agreed on a new mandate for German participation in the UN stabilisation mission MINUSMA. The focus of the European training mission EUTM, on the other hand, will no longer be in Mali, but in Niger.
