Jana Degebrodt is a staff member at the Centre for Humanitarian Action (CHA) with a focus on administration and finance. Before joining CHA, Jana worked for a youth welfare organisation as administrator and coordinator for the European Voluntary Service (EVS). Within the framework of the EVS, she implemented tolerance and anti-racism projects together with young people from different European countries.
Jana completed her Bachelor’s degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology, Journalism and Communication Studies at Freie Universität Berlin. During her studies, she focused especially on environmental justice and medical anthropology and researched how (indigenous) knowledge is translated globally by different actors.
Most recently, Jana worked in administration at the German Red Cross.
