Micha Knispel is research assistant at the Centre for Humanitarian Action (CHA). His research interests include human-environment relations in rural and urban economies as well as German development cooperation and humanitarian aid in the fields of climate change and security policy.
Prior to joining CHA, Micha lived in Ghana for 5 years and completed a developmental voluntary service in the field of sport in East London, South Africa. He also worked as the coordinator of the volunteer programme of the International Justice Mission Germany (IJM).
Micha has a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Economics and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Geographical Development Studies at Freie Universität Berlin.
