Yemen is experiencing the worst humanitarian crisis in the world. A war has been raging for almost 6 years, with dramatic consequences for the civilian population. 24 million people are dependent on humanitarian aid, or about 80 percent of the population. To mark the anniversary of the conflict on March 26, the Human Rights Film Festival Berlin is partnering with Aktion gegen den Hunger and the Centre for Humanitarian Action to screen the powerful documentary “Hunger Ward” (available online March 25 – 28) and invite you to a panel discussion on the current situation in Yemen (Youtube, March 25, 6 p.m.). You can register now for the film and panel discussion using the link below. An overview of the panel speakers is available on the website.
Human Rights Film Festival Berlin offers new perspectives & a platform to engage in discussions on human rights and humanitarian issues.
