Second Meeting of the Anti-Racism Forum

The Anti-Racism Forum (ARA) will meet for the second time on 15 December 2021.

While the kick-off meeting in September was about getting to know each other and identifying important topics, in this meeting we want to address the first topic in more depth: anti-racist communication in humanitarian organisations.
There will be a first input with different approaches and group discussions.

If you work for/at a humanitarian organisation with offices in Germany and would like to share experiences about racism and anti-racism in your own organisation, the ARA meetings are the right place for you.

Background: Following the continuing interest in cross-organisational exchange on the topic of anti-racism in humanitarian action, CHA had initiated an Anti-Racism Forum for staff from German aid organisations in April 2021. As a flexible cross-organisational exchange and learning platform, it aims to provide a protected space where staff from German aid organisations can continuously share questions about anti-racism with each other, share experiences and knowledge, and discuss new ideas and approaches without much formality.
