Lucas is an intern at the Center for Humanitarian Action (CHA). During this time, he is working on obstacles and barriers to localized humanitarian aid and potentials towards more equitable forms of humanitarian project management.
Outside of his internship, Lucas is currently finishing his degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at the Philipps University Marburg, Germany, focusing on post-conflict DDR, the Tigray War, and Ethiopian land conflicts. Prior to taking up his Master’s degree, he worked for a humanitarian aid organization for refugees in Mexico City.
Lucas speaks German, English and Spanish.
